(14) "Jellyfish Bloom" 3/31/10
Another shot from my aquarium day trip. Would have loved to setup a whole shoot just for the jellyfish tanks, but it was quite crowded. Not to mention I didn't have most of my gear and the lighting inside the room was not very good - all blacklight and other people's camera flashes (flashes and white light make them look like big brown blobs); not much of a chance without a tripod. Tried my best shooting freehand on 1/5. This grainy, mostly out of focus shot is the best of the bunch - I like the colors from the blacklight :)
Rain should be letting up soon (finally) and a few 70 degree days are on the way. Can't wait. Thanks all for the comments on the angry penguin!
