(161) "Cotton-bush - Revisited" 8/24/10 Found some time to revisit the Balloon Cotton-bush from my 8/6/10 daily (over here) in the hopes that the fruits had begun to "balloon" up. Was happy to see that they had. The fruits are very light and feel hollow, and the spines coming off the husk are soft and bendable. A curious sight considering the small size of the blossoms. The fruit in the center is a little smaller than a baseball. Thanks to all for the wonderful comments on yesterdays daily, and to those who found the time to visit my back-posts. Have a great day!
