(78) "Lotus corniculata" 6/3/10 On a quiet stroll yesterday on a beautiful day and found a great shady patch of Birdsfoot Trefoil, a wonderful wildflower in the area. A welcomed sight and my first find of its kind this season. Despite the Latin name of Lotus, this plant is in the Pea family. Thanks for all the wonderful comments on my butterfly (thanks again Maryann for the ID). Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
