Read More(37) "Selected" 4/23/10 Post processing is not a thing I am accustomed to; aside from a crop here or there, I shoot SOOC. Browsing through my captures from the last couple days looking for my next daily, I came across this lone tulip. After viewing all the fantastic selective coloring shots posted to the community, a thought popped into my head: "I bet my fellow Smuggers could make a great sc with this." Well, I figured I'd give it try. After all, what we do needs to be about learning, growing and pushing our boundaries. So I borrowed a friends copy of PS7, read a quick tutorial and got to work. As a first for me, I hope it came out all right :) The original capture can be found here in my Flora gallery. Thanks to all for the generous comments on yesterdays pink tulip, and to those who visited my Dgrin macro challenge ideas gallery. Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!

on April 25, 2010I would say for a f`irst effort you did a bang up job. The softness of the petals is a great contrast to the rough edges and textures. Well done.
