(70) "Daisy Fleabane" 5/26/10
Another variety of Daisy that grows in my area. Never understood the name, but the numerous soft petals and great bunches of blossoms make them a beauty. Hot and sunny today - might hit 90.

Taken Sunday on a beautiful day before all of the recent rain. Found a nice patch of Oxeye Daises in full bloom, my first daisy find of the season. Was quite excited - been waiting for them :) So there I am, about 3 inches from the blossom, happily snapping away when all of a sudden [insert dramatic music].... to be continued.....<br />
